Pictures during May

Here are several pictures that we took during the month of May. There were alot of things to celebrate during this month and of course we love documenting A.P.'s growth.

This is A.P. in a dress that my great grandmother made for my dad when he was a baby. It is 60 years old!!

A. P. all dressed up and ready for Baby Dedication. L wanted us to put her in the Bumbo seat. He loves for her to sit in it and is always asking me to put her in there!!

Here I am with my three kiddos. I am one blessed Mama to have three beautiful, healthy children.

My crew on Mother's Day.

A.P. dressed up for Decoration Sunday. One of my favorite things is Sunday morning when I get to dress her up in fancy dresses!! She is my own little doll!

This is E after his bath one night. He has become obsessed with his teeth. He loves to brush and floss. I thought that he looked like a little man on this night. I know the day is coming when he will be worried about his looks and will spend lots of time in front of that mirror! Ha! Right now I will cherish his being a little boy.

Our family at Decoration.

L's birthday was this month and he got a bicycle. He was so cute when he found it in the garage on the morning of his birthday.

L blowing out the candle on his birthday biscuit.

Pepaw and A.P.

L graduated from preschool during May. He got to hold the Christian flag during the program. He was so cute saying the 23rd Psalm and showing us everything that he had learned.

Our church had AWANA store during May. E had been saying alot of verses so he had alot of money! He bought this rocket with his money along with some other things. We took it to the farm the next day to try it out. It goes up very high and travels quite a ways. The kids (and Cale) have had a great time with it!

Cale trying to shoot the rocket off.

The boys during playtime with A.P. They love it when I put her in the floor. I am secretly afraid that they are going to kick her in the face or drop some toys on her. So far she has been safe......

A.P. loves to be outside! We try to get her outside everyday if possible.

A.P. and her daddy. Love at first sight!

Catching Up

I have alot of pictures for this post so beware!!

A.P. with her monster bow!!

Proud big brothers.

A.P. before her first trip to church!

L's preschool class had a field trip at the park. The kids had a great time feeding the ducks.

E got to come along on the field trip. He loves to feed the ducks too! He looks so much older here!!

L feeding ducks.

One night I put A.P. on the counter top while I cooked. I was talking to her and trying to keep her awake, but it didnt take long and she was out!!

This is A.P.'s first bath. She loves sitting in the bathtub.
I just love her bright eyes!!

When I start to wash her though, watch out!! She can throw a fit with the best of them!! She does not like the washing part of bath time!

She only calms down once I get her wrapped up and warm again! I love this picture because I have the same picture of L like this!

The boys cant resist playing with her if I lay her in the floor for even one second!

My sweet hubby let me sleep in this morning after I fed A.P. We both love this bed!!

Last night E has his awards ceremony at school. He was given the Joyfulness award. We are so sad that he will be leaving his wonderful teacher Mrs. Waind. She is so sweet and fun!! I am also not able to believe that I will have a second grader in the fall!!!

This is L this morning! I thought that he looked so cute bundled up in the living room watching television! Such a cutie pie!!

Things are going pretty good. I have been sick with a viral infection and I am a little concerned about A.P. getting it. She is sleeping good though and last night only got up once to eat! Hopefully we are halfway to the sleeping through the night!! 4 more weeks!! We will see, but I am not going to hold my breath!!

1 week old

Our sweet A.P. is one week old today! It is so hard to believe! We are crazy about this little girl!!

So far she has done very well with her eating. She typically eats every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We have seen a few sweet smiles when she is sleeping and one laugh when she was sleeping. She loves to cuddle in the recliner with her daddy. And her passy is her favorite right before she is about to go to sleep.

She Is Here!!

Our sweet A. P. is here!! She arrived Monday, April 4th weighing in at 6lb 14oz and 19 1/2 inches long.

I thought that this day would never come!!

And now our little family of four is a family of five!! We love our little brood!!
We had lots of visitors in the hospital. Aunt Hope came with Amy and Katie and brought us yummy cookies!!

And Aunt Rachel came to help out and give daddy some time out of the room!!

We were also visited by both sets of grandparents!!

I had so much fun dressing A.P in cute hats and outfits while we were in the hospital!

The boys are really proud of her!

Dr. Pickhardt, the doctor who delivered her.

A. P. in her going home outfit.

Ready to get out of here!!

So far everything has been good and we are home. She is eating and sleeping really well. We are soooo blessed!

36 weeks and money!

I know that I am way behind on my blogging so here is a little catch up. This is a belly picture of me and baby A at 36 weeks. I am currently 39 weeks and have gained 4-5 more pounds since this picture!!

My little buddies. They are so excited about the arrival of baby A.

On this particular Sunday I also had a baby shower at church. One of the gifts was this money bouquet. I had never seen one of these before and thought that it was wonderful!
There was $52 on this money bouquet!! It was a very nice baby gift!

Baby A arrives tomorrow morning! We are all excited and anxiously waiting. Today feels like it is just dragging by!!

New Bed

Well, the boys new bed is finally finished. We can finally move on with our lives. Baby #3 is set to arrive in about 5 weeks and we are now ready to start preparing her room. Well.....as soon as we get the boys room finished. But hopefully we can finish in there this week.
I have always had the baby nursery finished long before the arrival of the baby. But with this pregnancy every thing has been slow. I have a huge "To Do" list that all hinged on finishing these bunk beds. Maybe we can get started on it!!
Cale built stairs for the boys to climb to the top bunk. We thought that it might be easier for E to get up than using a ladder. He does not climb stairs well, especially stairs as steep as these, but he climbs them better than he would a ladder. He has already figured out how to get up and down quickly!

Inside the stairs I had Cale add drawers. The bedrooms in our house are pretty small and I didnt want to take up more wall space with a dresser. We added drawers under the bottom bed too for extra toy storage.

The boys slept in here together last night and it went pretty good! We heard a little whispering, but over all they went to sleep quickly and slept all night. I think that Cale didnt sleep well because he was worrying about L falling down the stairs in the middle of the night. But maybe time will help that! He is such a good daddy!

Thanks to Cale for all of his hard work.

Family Pictures

So tonight was the first time that my whole family has been together in a long time! I am so glad that I remembered to bring my camera so that we could get some family pictures.
Ms. Brynlee was so excited to see her new little cousin Elliana. Finally another girl! Hopefully they will be friends when Elliana gets a little bigger.

My dad with his girls!

Mom with the girls.

All of the grandkids together.

Nanny and Pepaw with the grandkids.

First family picture in a long time! We are quite the crew!

Hopefully we can do this again soon!
